Consider undertaking a comprehensive mind-body strategy that helps patients focus on a variety of tools to improve health and well being in everyday life. The following is our eight-week program outline (shorter programs are available).
Week 1 - Mind, Body, Spirit - Focuses on the connection between optimum health and the emotional, physical, and spiritual lives of participants.
Week 2 - Creative Stress Management I - Teaches how to manage stress and cultivate awareness through meditation and other techniques.
Week 3 - Creative Stress Management II - Expands upon stress management techniques.
Week 4 - Nutrition for Life - Concentrates on developing healthy, balanced, and nourishing eating habits.
Week 5 - Dealing with Emotions in Healthy Ways I - Provides strategies to create healthy patterns to identify, express, and release feelings. Also addresses the relationship between those emotional patterns and health.
Week 6 - Dealing with Emotions in Healthy Ways II - Expands on dealing with emotions. Learn different ways to consistently maintain positive moods and effectively manage negative emotions.
Week 7 - Practical Self-Care Techniques - Shares self-care stretching and self-massage techniques to maintain optimum wellness, increase vitality, and eliminate stress.
Week 8 - The Circle of Life - Using a self-assessment tool and group sharing, learn how to let go of negative patterns, maintain motivation, manage change, and integrate positive personal changes.
