I experienced tremendous success in kicking off my first co-authored book called Leadership Moments: Turning Points That Changed Lives and Organizations available at Amazon.com, whereas I participated in a panel discussion with my co-authors as well as offering a separate 75-minute workshop on The Inner Harmony Approach to ExtraOrdinary Leadership. The 9th Annual International Leadership Conference in Vancouver B.C.drew nearly 900 participants from around the world. The theme Leadership: Impact, Culture, and Sustainability involved exploring leadership on the edge. Our common work was to discuss, experience, and offer theory which advance and encourage the field of leadership and contribute to the greater global good. Bordering on the U.S. and Asia, Vancouver, also the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, with a population defined as growing in urban community which includes 42% immigrants while at the same time trying to learn what it means to truly honor its First Nations and aboriginal heritage. A true melting pot experience!

The ILA is a global network for all those who practice, study, and teach leadership. The vision is inTransforming Leadership Knowledge and Practice Worldwide. The Inner Harmony Approach workshop was a huge success as was the Author Signing and Reception Gathering sponsored by Jossey-Bass.
